Marzhan Baitasova worked from 2015 to 2019 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Far East, majoring in “5B020900 – Oriental Studies”. She successfully defended her bachelor’s thesis with distinction on the topic “The Role of Korean Chaebols in the Social Life and Economy of South Korea and Kazakhstan.” From February 24, 2018, to August 31, 2018, she studied at Dongguk University in Seoul, Republic of Korea, under the Academic Mobility Program. In August 2019, she entered the master’s program in “7M02217 – Oriental Studies.” In 2021, she defended her master’s thesis on the topic “Socio-cultural Analysis of Suicide Problems among Youth in Modern South Korea.” She has 1 publication in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KKSON) and 3 articles published in international conference proceedings. Since September 1, 2021, she has been working as a lecturer at the Department of the Far East.
